Manic Minefields
Manic Minefields is not just another Minesweeper® clone. It's on steroids!!!
It's really 12 different minesweeping games in one, as it features 12 uniquely designed minefields to choose from.
Each minefield has its own exciting and fun set of cool graphics, sounds, individual best times charts etc.
Some of them have special rules (e.g. obstacles), and some have different ways of displaying the numbers (e.g. dice, Roman numerals, foot prints etc.).
One cool feature is that you can import/export best times charts.
This feature enables you to receive a best times file by email from a friend, and then import it into your copy of the game.
Manic Minefields will then compare your best times with your friend's, and create new updated best times charts!
Here's a list of the 12 built-in minefields (themes): Space Pirates, Army, Navy, Skulls & Demons, Et Tu Brute, Killer Dinos, Dino Park, Life On Mars, Zeros & Ones, Rainbow Painter, Necromancer, Jail Break.
How To Play
You might have played a game called Minesweeper®, or perhaps some other game with the word 'sweeper' or 'mine' in its name.
Then you already know how to play, since the rules of those games and Manic Minefields are similar.
If you haven't played any of the games in the minesweeping genre, don't worry!
It's an addictive and fun puzzle game where the goal is to find and mark all the mines in a field, with the help of clues.
These clues are numbers that tell you how many mines you can find in the adjacent squares.
It's really quite easy to learn, and the rules are explained within the game.
It's also a great workout for your brain!
